BETTER WEEKEND
Woo hoo! Last weekend was much, much better than the two previous. Everyone had a good time & it was all happy. It's good to get back to that. No drama's, no issues or problem's. The music was good, everybody danced, had fun, caught up with each other & one of my close friend's were out too. I guess it was also a bonus that some old high school friend's of mine were out as well. It was really cool. Oh, I didn't mention this before but I got a new desktop. This time I went to a iMac! Yep, I officially converted & I'm definitely not looking back either. I don't know why I wasn't already using this, lol. I've already became addicted to apps & other stuff, it's fun. I had always used iTunes before but never set up an account until now and just the other day I rented a movie on it, I got My Sister's Keeper. WOW, what a film. It was so original, moving and sad. Overall, the acting & directing were brilliant. It took me like, forever, to eventually get to watch it. I'm really glad I saw it now. I recommend it to anyone. I also recently saw Up in the Air, the new film from George Clooney.. it was very good but the ending is a little anti-climatic. You could say the same for The Lovely Bones, it was brilliant, had a terrific story with beautiful imagery/scenery in certain scenes & aspects of the film... but again, the ending was a bit unofficial.
The next films I plan to see are The Blind Side, A Single Man, Edge of Darkness and Valentine's Day. Haha, that's a lot of films right? I just see one after the other, it's almost the only thing I ever want to do, it's becoming almost like a study to me. To see what ways the director's directed, or the writer wrote. It's beautiful and I am enjoying learning what I see. I have always been a very visual person, so it fits. Oh another film to review that I saw, is Nine. Now, the musical parts and dancing sequences were brilliant, I thoroughly enjoyed it and I think Daniel Day Lewis's acting was superb, as usual. He is such a good actor, he really is, he throws himself into his roles and almost becomes them. I'd hire him for any film I did, and Morgan Freeman is another actor that I would hire. Speaking of which, I'd like to see Invictus too. Morgan looks amazing in it. He is engaging to watch, even when he speaks and says anything, people listen. I love it. So Nine was good, except for the storyline.. it revolved around the same concept the entire time, it didn't move along or go anywhere with it, it was sort of boring that way but the entertaining parts were the singing and dancing. So not a recommendation but if you're bored at home one day, it's that sort of film to watch. Onto my work; it's been okay. Not bad nor great. Which is good I guess. I wouldn't want an extreme situation from it, although I did have a bit of a bad day today, it was still okay. I am still on the hunt for something full-time and better.
Let's move onto what else I've been doing, shopping on Ebay! Haha. I have almost become addicted to it, really. It's getting kind of bad. Just this week I bought a hood for my SLR camera from Hong Kong, about 4 different cocktail dresses to wear on night's out at the club, I have just been browsing some high heel peep toe pump's on there, in the colours of yellow and pink! Hehe! I really just want a gold, pink or yellow pair of peep toe pump heels with a bow or something, just to stand out from the rest of the outfit. I think mixing colours is always fun as long as they go together. I really ought to make a webcam log of all my purchases, haha, because if it's not Ebay, it's local shops I have purchased stuff from. I need a new cupboard as it is, let alone making a larger collection of clothes/shoes to fit into it, hahaha. Got to love girls like me, I'm proud of it, lol. I've been thinking about getting a new mobile/cell phone to use and been contemplating an iPhone. I really have become obsessed/addicted to Apple products now, haha. And I'm sure you all heard about the new iPad that Apple have made, it really does look just like a big version of the iPhone, it's touch screen (obviously) and it does just about anything, but I have heard (it may be a joke) that you can only have one program open on it at a time, but that's probably just a joke, right? I don't know. Anyhow, it looks and seems pretty cool.. I wonder what Apple will think of next?!? Hmm. I'm all for Apple now, I am converted, for real.
This Saturday night will be a mutually known person's 21st birthday, all of us are going out to the club for it, well most of my friend's are, I'm going out for another reason, to have fun! I'm excited to have a really great night! We all need one. However, that girl turning 21 is a girl I've always been nice to & she is workmates with my bf's brother. Well all along for the past year and a half that I've known her, I thought she was a very fun & nice girl well until I found out recently that she had been talking bad about me behind my back to my other friend's. Yep! She had. And I'm not bothered by what she said but more the fact that she did it in the first place. That she had the audacity to throw opinion's & judge me after I've been so welcoming/nice to her, especially when she's meant to be a friend. And she's in no position to judge other people. I just hate being nice to people & because of some immature influence, they throw it all back in your face by doing you wrong like that. So I don't necessarily feel like celebrating this girl's birthday but I'm still going out to have my own good night. I will ignore this girl completely & hope her birthday is, well, ordinary, lol. Haha. I guess it might be about time I made a new layout for this site. It has been a while. I might, I might not, but if I do it won't be till another month or so.. when I have more time to think about a new theme/idea for it. It's still summer time here in Australia, atleast for one more month so I will keep it up for now. I have noticed that a lot of bloggers that I visited have now stopped blogging but still have their websites up. I hope ya'll get time to blog again, I know it's hard trying to find things to say sometimes but sometimes the simple things to be said are the funnest to read. I'm pretty drained and tired from work this week so I'm going to end it here and update some dead links on my 'World Wide Web' section of other people's blogs, oh and I'm always keen to meet new people and read their blogs so if you know anyone with a good blog to read, recommend it to me and I'll visit. Have a good weekend, take care, love Jaz xXx.

You're a better person than me, if someone bad mouthed me I let them know (regardless if it's their birthday or not). I wouldn't even go out with her, someone who clearly doesn't respect you as a person shouldn't have your respect to attend her celebration.
I liked Nine's storyline, it's like the journey of someone who has writer's block and how they try and unblock themselves.
I thought it was brillaint, especially all the women actors. They were marvellous.
Morgan Freeman does have great presence on screen as well.

Jaz! Sorry I haven't been around, hun! Especially since you always leave me such sweet messages! I'm very happy you received my Christmas card. I posted it way too late! All the online friends I sent cards received it way after Christmas. I'm gonna do better this year, I've learned my lesson! LOL I will send you an email with my address, like you asked in one of your comments.
I love that you always talk about movies, because I love movies too! I always find it interesting to hear which movies you saw and liked or didn't like! I haven't seen any of the movies you mentioned yet. I was looking forward to Nine but I keep hearing disappointing things. I still really want to see The Lovely Bones (looks visually stunning) and Valentine's Day (such a fun cast!).
I'm sorry to hear that girl talked behind your back! Especially since you've always been nice to her! You definitely don't deserve that. People can be so disappointing. :/
Much love, hun! x

I'm still here girl! lol…I know I'm not blogging as regularly as I like, but I still love my site and can't quit
Anyway, I am currently reading The Lovely Bones and it's such a great book…I am really wondering what the movie will be like, since it's different from the book…we'll see how that turns out! I'll let you know when I see it and how I liked it.
Did you read My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult before you saw the movie? Because the movie was good, but the book is sooooooooooo much better!!!
I admire you for going to that girl's birthday party after you found out her true nature…I don't know if I would be able to be nice to her anymore…but you go and have fun girl!!!

I haven't been much into movie watching these days, except maybe stupid old movies that are on cable. However, I did see the lovely bones and it was a very sad movie to me. I still want to read the book, though. I also want to see The Blind Side. I avoided My Sister's Keeper because after seeing the previews, it brought back some rather painful memories so I don't think that I'm brave enough to watch it just yet.
I really really want a macbook. It's one of my dream laptops. I think within the next year, I will be purchasing one. I absolutely adore my ipod touch and that iPad is really hot! Apple has some nice products.
Sometimes it really doesn't pay to be nice to people. I'm learning that as of late. Most women are backstabbers so I try to stay away from them.
I hope that you have fun!
