MERRY CHRISTMAS & BOXING DAY

Merry Christmas to all the visitor's out there & my fellow loved bloggers. I hope you were happy, safe, relaxed, ate enough to be full & enjoyed the company of your family. It's nice when we can all come together and have fun. We kept it pretty simple this time, my brother, his GF and my brother's friend came around for lunch.. there was so much food that we asked them back over today for dinner. Helping to eat the leftover's, what our great Boxing Day is good for, huh?! Hehehe. We've kept it simple for years now on Christmas Day, the best way to have it, I think. I hope all of you had a great day too. And to people in England, Canada & Australia, Happy Boxing Day! I went out clubbing on Christmas Eve with my bf and all our friends, we had a great night but I wanted to leave early before close, before all the idiot's come out, so that was a good thing because we got home early and ready to wake up at a decent time to eat & open gift's. As promised two entries ago, I'll be adding some photo's up here from the Sydney Telstra 500 V8's Race event that I went to. Here's the first one..

A V8 racing car, all decked out in it's sponsor's stickers & kit.

Onto the gift's that I got; from my mother I received a black Mickey Mouse tee t shirt, New York Impulse deodorant, and a cute photo album (I said I could put all my pub/clubbing/partying photo's in it, or this year's holidays/concerts), from my BF I got John Mayer's - Battle Studies cd album, and the blu-ray dvd pack of Ice Age: 1, 2 & 3 all in the one pack! Pretty cool since I have only seen number one so far. From his brother I got Michael Jackson's This Is It album, the music that inspired the movie. I love that 'Human Nature', 'Earth Song', and 'Jam' are all on that LP. It's BRILLIANT! So Im very glad I got that, means a lot to own it, it really does. Like a collector's item. I can't wait for the blu-ray dvd of the film to actually come out shortly, been hanging for it. From my BF's mother I got money & scratchies in which I won a cute $2 on, hehehe.

Bumblee, in REAL life! This car is obviously the exact same model as the sports version Camaro used in the Transformer films, this car is worth around $150,000.. yup, that's enough to buy a decent HOUSE. That car was definitely beautiful. My friend and I had our photo professionally taken with it.

My BF wanted to get me The Sims 3 pc game, but he wanted to wait until it's on special price, which now that it's Boxing Day, it is. So tomorrow he's shopping to get that, awww. He knew I've wanted it for a while now, so it's awesome that he's willing to still get it for me. Ugh; WORK was the busiest ever last week... obviously due to Christmas.. everyone has to eat.. and well especially so on Christmas. So we were VERY busy! I did two 9HR shifts which both went so fast because of how constant and busy it was.. infact I found that I prefer it that way so the time goes much faster, lol. I honestly don't notice the time when it's busy, it flies by like a flick of a switch, I love it.

Connie Mitchell and Daimon from Sneaky Sound System, standing on stage performing. They were AMAZING, completely off the HOOK. I'm so glad I saw them LIVE.

DJ BZERK, an absolutely HOT looking DJ whom I was standing right infront of, lol. I had the best view the entire night. He was into it too, even dancing around himself.

In other news; it's very sad that the Murphy family had to bury their daughter on Christmas Eve. I couldn't even fathom that. It's still so shocking and just awful, you really have to cherish each day like it's your last. Christmas Day also marks the day a person I knew passed away, Katelyn Salmont, it's weird to think it's already been a whole year. Katelyn died of pneumonia & cystic fibrosis, she was the sister to the actress that I run a fansite on. It's very sad when people die way too young. It's getting late here, so I best be off and get ready for bed. I'm exhausted & have to eat more food tomorrow that is still leftover, hehehe. Have a good weekend everybody. Jaz xXx.

Love Jaz xXx.

ThanksCarla, Gwen, Lotte, Shannon

  1. I'm glad that you had a somewhat enjoyable Christmas!

I hate seeing people die, anyone, even people that I don't know. It's so discouraging and scary to think that anyone could die from anything these days. As of late, I've been on a constant health kick. I just want to live longer, for my children. I'm trying not to stress as much also.

I still haven't gotten to see “This Is It”. I think that I'm going to purchase the DVD in the future. I'm still trying to get over the whole thing as it is. I do want to see Avatar also. I don't get to go to the theaters much but I'm hoping that will change in the future.

  2. Those are real cool gifts. I've always wanted to play The Sims 3. I wasn't really satisfied with The Sims 2. I might have to give that a try.

I can remember about 2 years ago that I had a very sad Christmas as well and I had to deal with two deaths.

  3. Happy New Year to you girl!! Hope you had a fantastic NYE :) I had fun with my family and played some boardgames and watched awesome fireworks. It was quiet by nice :)

You got some cool presents during the holidays! Sims3 is fun! My sister and I are addicted to it haha. Have fun with everything :) Oh and the dj on the picture is still hot :p lol

  4. Happy 2010, hun! Hope it will be a great year for you! Did you receive the Christmas card I sent you?

Glad to hear you had a lovely Christmas and scored some nice gifts!

I love your little tribute to Brittany Murphy in your previous post. I am very saddened by her sudden passing. She was a great talent. :'(

    Much love, dear! x
