WOW. EPIC
The last two weekend's have meant to be good but the majority of them have turned out pretty bad. Let's say the word 'epic' is a good word to describe them both. Particularly at the beginning of both of the night's out that we endured, I say endured because there wasn't too much FUN in them, the first weekend I'm talking about, we were literally waiting for the clock to tick for it to close (the club) so we could leave. That's a pretty clear sign that we shouldn't be out. So, the second weekend (the one just passed) we decided to have a bbq at a friend's place and party there. You know, instead of going out to the actual club. Well. Good idea. But due to a bunch of misconceptions and paranoia, a friend of mine got upset at me & another friend of our's and left. They didn't come back. As soon as I knew what was going on, I felt like I was right back in high school. You know, that old immature drama that was bullshit since the moment it started? Yeah, that. So, what was meant to be a good night turned into a very bad one for a long time. Despite that, toward the end of the night, it got a lot better and the remaining people (my other friends and I) all had a lot of fun. But the beginning was still all in our mind's. It's sad and a real shame, because it would have been a terrific night. Meh. Can't mould the mind's of affected people, their misconception's are way too powerful at the time. Ahh! So after those two bad weekend's, you'd think it'd be a sign to not go out for a while but there isn't really much else to do around here on the weekend's. Not even in summer.
Work; well I could say that was epic too. We were majorly under-staffed, overly busy and I just constantly remembered all the other things I had to do (outside of work) that I couldn't do, because I was AT work. Ah! Don't you hate those week's? I certainly hope next week, the one that starts now, is a lot better! In terms of film's, I saw The Tooth Fairy last Monday, it was really sweet, cute and funny... but it's definitely a film for children and younger teen's. It was still a fun film and I love Dwayne Johnson, so that helped watching it, haha. I also saw 'It's Complicated', that was such a funny movie. Meryl is absolutely brilliant in it, as she is usually in all her film's. Alec was good too but it was a reminder that he is definitely better seen IN clothes, rather than not. HAHAHA. I also saw Did You Hear About the Morgan's?, I'm not sure if I already mentioned that but it was very funny and Im glad I saw it. Sarah is very good in it, so is Hugh. What is funny is that I normally don't like Hugh Grant, or anything that he is in.. however this film was pretty good. It also starred Mary Steenburgen, you know, the woman who plays Nancy Huff in Step Brothers, Brennan's mother. OMG. She is hilarious! Her comedic ability is amazing. I'll always remember her saying 'what the f'n f' in Step Brothers when Brennan and Dale have that major fight in the front yard, and even the hose doesn't get them apart, haha. I love that film! I can definitely watch any comedy film with Will Ferrell, John C Reilly or Mary Steenburgen in it. Yay!
Well, that's about all the news I have at the moment. It's pretty late here and I cannot wait to get to bed after the busy day at work I had today. I worked Sunday night, yup, lame huh? I had to. Not a choice. Ah well. I have next weekend off, completely, so I have nothing to complain about now. I hope everyone had a good week and a better weekend than me. You might beable to tell that even in my writing, I sound bitter or different tonight. That's the affect the weekend has had on me. I think it's time for a break of going or or doing anything big. But it's hard to attempt to have fun on a weekend, by doing nothing but relaxing.. it becomes boring. Anyway, hope everyone has a brilliant week ahead. No drama's hopefully. And before I go, I'd love to thank Gwen on the beautiful NYE card that was sent to me, so thank you very much Gwen! I hope you have a terrific 2010 too & we definitely have to keep more in touch this year. Love Jaz xXx.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN
First of all, Happy Halloween to everyone! Although it was the other day, I hope everyone had a good one. I sure did! I went to a huge Halloween party where everybody dressed up, there were so many different costumes. We had a Freddy Krueger, two skeleton's, a fairy, a vampire pirate, two police women (my friend & I), a special ops corp, two devils & Clark Kent Superman! It was an AWESOME party, everybody had lots of fun. Afterwards, we all went out to the pub where my friend & I (both in the police woman costumes) hosted a Pink theme night, in support of fundraising money for Breast Cancer Awareness and the Cancer Council. You see, earlier in the day we went to the pub and decorated with pink streamers & balloons, then at night we wore these home-made pink silk sash's that said 'Pink Night' (designed by me). And we took donations from people to help fundraise money to go towards the research and to help support the cause. All up, in the space of four hours, we raised $402.30! That's $100 for every hour, it was really good. Especially to see so many young MEN whip out their wallets and just hand in notes, not even asking for a ticket in the draw to win the prizes. I thought that was AWESOME.
That night on Satuday was also a friend's 21st bday, so we all celebrated that with her too, it was MEGA fun. She had a shirt that you could write on and everybody wrote their own personal bday message, it was cool. So that night was very busy, it was Halloween, Pink Night and my friend's 21st bday celebrations. WHAT A NIGHT! I definitely paid for it all the next morning, worst hangover in a long time. I had WAYYY too much! Much too much. But it was a GREAT night and I think it was all worth it! And what a good cause we raised money for. I hope the entire world accumlates all the fundraising money and puts it to the good use of helping to find a cure to breast cancer!
Today - Tuesday 3rd November (as I edit & update this blog); it was the horse races. A huge day today in Australia, it was the Melbourne Cup race.. known as the race that stops a nation. It's Race 7 at Flemington Racetrack in Melbourne, it's sponsored by Emirates. Anyhow, I usually have a small bet in this race each year, just for fun, and this year I backed the winner! Yay! I got back all the money I spent, haha. So it was good. I also decided to go to the local racetrack and watch some races there, ofcourse all the girls including myself, all wore pretty dresses and either a hairpiece or a hat. I chose a hairpiece, it was a last minute dash to the shop at 2pm today to get it too, haha. It was very fun & I enjoyed myself, oh and winning was obviously making it good too, haha. I wore a green silk dress with a black netted hairpiece that was attached to a cute headband, I took photo's so I might post if I can manage to upload them.
I hope everybody else had a great Halloween just like myself. Oh and in other news; you KNOW I'm going to see This Is It at the cinema! I can't wait to see it! It's going to be very bitter sweet, but I have to see it. I'm planning to go this week, so I'll definitely be posting about it afterwards. I hope everyone has a good week, I need to post about all the movies I've seen lately. I'll get around to it. Take care all of you, love you. Jaz xXx
