MARCH BABY
The Backstreet Boys were AWESOME! And the support act was a female singer named Ricki Lee, she was brilliant as well! I got plenty of photo's and some video too, I'll include some of the photo's in this blog entry. So the weekend my friend Krystal and I went was the 6th March 2010 and we had an amazing time! It was a bit rushed as my friend was in the middle of renovating her home and had a couch arriving anytime, so we sort of basically went down in the morning on the Saturday and came back the next day (Sunday) also in the morning, infact, at 7 in the AM! LOL. Ah well. We could have otherwise went out after the concert with a few friend's of mine but since we were having to get up early, we decided to go home and have a quiet one. I did however get to walk around the harbour at night and look at all the lights first, it was lovely... and since it was a Saturday evening, so many people were out and about. Going out, having dinner, all that jazz. It looked really beautiful. Here is the first photo from the concert that I'll post..

In the beginning for the road trip, we had planned on going to a lovely beachy area of Sydney and having dinner, but since our trip down was longer than expected with the bus being delayed, we ended up rushing down to a nearby restuarant of where we were staying and just had that on the way back, lol. So a lot of it was rushed however we still enjoyed ourselves. When we were on our way to the concert, we were almost late but thankfully I knew where we were going so I just ran, haha. We didn't have to rush at all since when we got there, not even the support act was on yet. Another weekend has passed since that BSB concert and it was fulfilled with big events as well but I'll update all about that in the next entry. Basically, I went to another concert event called The Garden Party, which was held in the local Botanic Gardens here, it was a lovely sunny day and I had such a great weekend all-round, but like I said, I'll talk about that more in the next entry. There's too much and it won't fit into this entry, lol.

Ricki Lee is a local Australian female singer, she was a constestant on Australian Idol in the very first series of the show, and towards the end she was voted off despite being one of the better contender's, not too long after she was signed to a label and started releasing song's. Ricki had a big appeal in Australia and that helped her do well, with cd sales, etc. About two years of releases under her belt, she was cast as a host/presenter on the next couple of Australian Idol rounds, becoming an even bigger hit for the show, she continued her role and still managed to release a new album with more RnB & dancier sound's. I have always enjoyed her music and I was so glad she was selected as the support act for the BSB's. I am a fan who find's all the Backstreet Boys attractive but my number one HAS to be AJ, hehehe. I kept perving on him and taking his photo whenever he would be the one singing or the focus was on him. Haha. Go me! I know the other three are all married and that even now AJ is engaged to a beautiful woman but it's nice to dream, isn't it? LOL. I've recently bought tickets to see John Mayer and Kelly Clarkson.. I think I mentioned Kelly a while ago, but her show is coming up in April and John's is coming up in early May. I cannot wait! My friends and I also recently got tickets to a music festival coming to Sydney called SupaFest, it was formerly called JamFest, but they suddenly changed the name the other week. There is a line-up of artists playing at that such as Akon, Pitbull, Eve, Kelly Rowland, Sean Paul, Jay Sean, DJ Nino Brown and Chris Sorbello! So that is a lot! I've always wanted to see Akon and Pitbull LIVE, so I'm stoked about that. Infact, all that is happening in the same week as the Kelly Clarkson concert, woo hoo! I am excited!!!

I am about to watch Alice in Wonderland, I've been meaning to watch that for such a long time now, so it's good to finally see it. I always thought that Tim Burton has such an amazing visionary for film-making and story-telling, so I am excited! Oh and another one I really want to see soon is Dear John, I have heard amazing feedback of that one, and people are saying it's one of the best tear-jerker's that they have seen in a long time. So that is on my to-do-list! I don't mind any genre of film, if it draw's me in and moves me, I feel it's been successful. That is has accomplished what it was made to do. That's how I feel about film's. Anything that can capture an audience and make them feel what's happening, is an amazing thing. A tremendous affect to have one people. I guess, along with many other thing's, that is what film-making is about, ultimately. Ohh on my way home from the concert, I found a beautiful Frangipani flower sitting on the ground near the pathway from someone's front yard, since it's already fallen off and on the ground, I picked it up. I love Frangipani flower's, they're my fave flower of all time! I love Hibiscus's, Orchid Lily's, Roses and Frangipani's. I like a lot of others ofcourse but those four are my most liked.

I am about to join formspring now and start that up. I'll edit the entry and include the link in so I can get that underway. I had recently thought about doing podcast's, I have an Ipod and I have a Mac now, so it would not be hard to do so. Anyone else think that is a good idea? I really honestly don't know what I would talk about, probably just say everything I'd otherwise say in a written blog entry like I put on here, lol. Oh well, I guess there is nothing really wrong with that and hearing the actual voice would be pretty cool, huh? Anyone want to hear my accent? Hehehe! You will probably beable to soon, lol. Podcast's sound fun! Well I better get going now, got to have some dinner prepared and then do some more laundry washing. Hope everybody is enjoying their week. Love always Jaz xXx.

CONCERTS & STUFF
I have to call concert's-anonymous, I swear! I'm about to attend my 6th concert! Literally. First it was the first year's round of Top 12 artists from Australian Idol, then a few years later it was the Pussycat Dolls & Lady GaGa, after that was Nickelback & Britney, then earlier this year of 2010 it was ACDC and this weekend it's about to be the Backstreet Boys! My best friend had two tickets to the show and up until two weeks ago, had no one to go with... since I love going to the city whenever I can and I am a fan of the BSB's earlier work.. I said I'd go with her! Woo hoo! Now I am excited, I spent the last week listening to their older stuff and just got hooked again! Yep, that quickly too! My concert's won't stop there either, I have big gig's to attend of Kelly Clarkson, which is not far away, only next month! Then there is John Mayer (whom is someone I have always, ALWAYS wanted to see!) and then I'm going to a music festival with a great friend of mine to see a HUGE line up of artists that are all coming to Australia within the same week, that include: Akon, Pitbull, Kelly Rowland and a local DJ called DJ Nino Brown! I think I can fairly say I am addicted to concert's & seeing LIVE music happen! It's amazing, it's the best way to hear music. And you can betcha that when all the gig's end, I'll have more to go to and will have to fairly weigh up saving money & spending it on seeing future event's, lol. I did hear that Pink is coming to Australia again in December 2010 as the ambassador for the Australian Superracing V8's, so you can gather that yeah, I'll definitely be seeing her THIS time. I missed out when she was here last year, despite wanting to go, it was a lot of drama to go & even when the tickets went on sale I got the wrong pre-sale date, so it had pretty much sold out by the time I went to buy mine, lol. Oh and as promised, I'll be adding up photo's here from my recent small trip to the city to see ACDC, Wolfmother and Calling All Cars and here is the first one...

I'm just waiting on dinner to be ready and then I'll be off here. I'm starving, lol. I don't normally watch much tv these days but I have recently started getting back into two of my favorite show's, Australia's So You Think You Can Dance and Neighbours, my fave male dancer's would have to be Nick and Phillipe, my fave female dancer's would have to be Ivy and Jess S. I'm not sure how many Aussies still continue to watch the newer show's as they come back each year again but I presume it would be a lot, since dancing itself is a big thing in Australia. As is musician's too, or artists/creator's in general. And I LOVE that about my country! Ohh you guys probably won't believe me but I have not seen any new films lately. I did see The Wolfman while I was on my mini holiday but that was two weeks ago now. I am planning on seeing Alice in Wonderland and Valentine's Day, hopefully I get to see both of them sometime pretty soon. I enjoy watching films, it makes me escape the real world but I always find myself also studying the directing or screenplay style of writing... what does that tell you? That I AM very interested in film-making, yep! Because that's true, I am. And somehow I would absolutely LOVE to somehow incorporate graphic designing with film, and I do know that it is possible, I have seen it. And it seems to be the way film-making is going now... so I guess I should say this about my future (even if it be studying, working in it, or both at the same time) 'watch this space' because I really have now finally found what it is I wish to do for a long-term career! And I can incorporate photography, writing stories, graphic designing & now film all into the one combination easily.. it makes sense, right? I think if I have an interest in all three of those things, and clearly film-making is related to each of those thing's... then it must be what I'd be happy doing! And I cannot wait! I really can't.

Now onto other things; work is good, well I need to do as much as I can at the moment to save back up again, haha. I honestly spent a lot more than I had thought and I had a bit of a shock when I checked my bank, haha. Ah well. I did enjoy what I had spent it on so that's worth it, right? I think so. Life is too short not to enjoy the finer thing's in life too. I know we all work but pay yourself more respect and enjoy! It's not a crime, not any of it is selfish and if you can do it most of all, then do so. Because as I said, it's worth it. Oh what I should mention is the show Fringe, WOW. I have just watched the first season on blu-ray dvd's and WOW, it's got me hooked, pretty much instantly. I am usually not ever interested in sci-fi tv show's or in most cases I watch the first few episodes but then forget it's on (I'm obviously not that hooked, or interested) or remember it's on but not bother changing channels for it. I guess it helps that the tv show's come out on DVD not long after anyway. But I do really enjoy watching Fringe, it has Joshua Jackson in it and Anna Torv. If you didn't know, (from IMDB) - it's centered around a female FBI agent who is forced to work with an institutionalized scientist in order to rationalize a brewing storm of unexplained phenomena. Sound's confusing but it's actually a lot easier to follow/watch, than you think. I really liked Flash Forward as well but it's not on air anymore, I think we're waiting for the new episodes to air, lol. I miss it. Fringe has sort of filled that void for me, atleast for the time being.
Dinner is almost ready so I am going to get off now and EAT. I hope everyone is having a great week and has an awesome weekend too, I'll be taking a road-trip to the city again for the weekend to see none other than, the Backstreet Boys!. I'll have photo's in my next update. By the way, I have mentioned the form spring possibility that I may open an account there and receive/answer any question's that are sent, providing their appropriate one's, so I'll be looking into that very soon. Take care everyone, stay safe and I'll update you soon on my trip. Love Jaz xXx.
VACATION & MUSIC TIME
LEST WE FORGET - 11/11 AUSTRALIA
I'm officially on holidays now! I've been doing tons of washing and packing my bag up, as I leave very shortly. I can't wait! I've practically waited all year long for this trip! I had put in for it at the beginning of the year and planned it for that long, so it's taken a while to get here. I'm only going away for a week and a half. Ofcourse I'll be taking my Ipod with me, got to listen to something on the way. I've had to clear off all the files on my camera's to get them ready for taking photo's on this trip. And trust me, I'll be taking a lot!
I went to see Michael Jackson's 'This Is It' film last week, it was really bitter sweet to watch it. It became clear to me that he could still dance and sing just the way he use to! His voice was still amazing and his dance moves stellar.. it was SO bitter sweet. I enjoyed it and I am glad I went to see it on the big screen. It was only screening in cinema's for two weeks, I think they need to make a big dvd with the rehearsal footage & concert footage from tours that he has done around the world. His 'History' tour was really good, I'd love to see footage of that put onto the dvd & make it really special with a photo gallery of his epic pictures. My favourite theatrical part to 'This Is It', would be where they did the green screen and multiplied the soldier dancers for 'They Don't Really Care About Us' segment, with the big MJ in the background, that was EPIC & brilliant! That is warranted! He deserved that army of people dancing behind him. That was him. Him all over.
Other parts I liked a lot were when he sang 'Human Nature' on his own and when he danced/sang in 'Smooth Criminal' on stage after the video clip filming, infact I can't pick favourite parts because all of it was my favourite.. I only wish there was more & more. And that it would never end. Like all his honest fans. Awww. The GREATEST entertainer of the world, I am thankful I was born in the 80's to witness growing up with his music as predominantly the first music I ever heard! Ask anyone who appreciates music, who was born in the early 80's and they will tell you this same thing. RIP Michael Jackson.
Last weekend; my bf, my friend's and I all went out to the pub. It was cool because it was a friends 21st bday party that night and all the attendees had to dress up in a Navy theme, so there were a lot of my friends dressed in sailor suit's and stuff. Always makes for great photo's! The weather here has been really good, very sunny and warm. It's definitely warmed up here very fast, and it's not even officially Summer yet, we're now in the last month of Spring. I love Spring. I wish it stayed Spring all year round with some Fall/Autumn thrown in too, haha. I hope to get lots of shopping done while I'm away, it's always great because there is a bigger variety of stores and shops. Onto what I'm doing while away; I'm looking forward to the concert of Nickelback, WOO HOO! I've always wanted to see them LIVE in concert, so this is finally the time to do that!
Well I best be off and finish getting packed. Got to do more laundry yet too. I hope everyone has a great two weeks ahead, have fun, take care and I shall update once I am back with photo's too. Love Jaz xXx.

SPRING TIME AGAIN
Aww, it's a great feeling when the weather here get's to a comfortable degree. It's now Spring time again, the sunshine has come out a lot more now & all the flowers and plants have bloomed. The only problem is that it get's hot really quick here and not much changes it, I'll have to start pulling out my summer clothing again to wear. But I can't really put away my winter clothes because you never know when the weather will suddenly change, it can get windy, rainy & start thunder-storming at practically anytime. Infact; last weekend on Saturday night it began thunder-storming, pouring rain & my bedroom window kept rattling when a huge gust of wind would blow against it. I'm so glad I didn't go out to a club, because getting home late that night would have been nasty. Taxi's always take such a long time to come at that time of night, because their so busy. Last weekend; I ended up going shopping during the day on Saturday and bought a few dvds. I got Mr Bean's Holiday (the two movies in one pack) and I also picked up The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. I've only seen it one time and enjoyed it, so I wanted to see it again.

That night on the Saturday, two of my friends, my bf and I all went to see The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor and it really wasn't that good. I was a bit disapoointed really, even the funny parts were a bit corny & the storyline wasn't impressive. The scenery was good & the effects were cool, but that's about as good as it got unfortunately. Earlier on in the week, we all went and saw Baby Mama and to my surprise, it was really good! I thoroughly enjoyed it, it was cute, funny, sad & just a really nice movie to sit down and watch. I really liked it and so did my friends. At the moment; there is about one more film at the cinema that I'd like to see and that is Make It Happen! It looks pretty good so far, so who knows, maybe next week I will go and see it. Onto work; it's been really good, everything has been going pretty well & I'm really enjoying where I am. So that is very good, and I'm still looking at buying a car. Wish me luck in finding something really good!

I decided to add in some photo's from my trip away in this blog. I hope you guys enjoy them, I want to start putting in more photo's to the blogs I write and I've decided to make a Flickr account as well, so look forward to that coming soon I hope. I really adore the new handbag I got while I was away, I've used it everyday since I got back, haha. Anyhowl my favorite television shows are about to be on so I'm going to go and watch them. I hope everybody else had a good week last week and an even better weekend, the one just passed. Take care and enjoy the week ahead. Love Jaz xXx.
